Annotated Bibliography.

"Advice for Nursing Students." Confessions of a Registered Nurse. Microsoft, 2010. Web. 7 Apr 2010.
-- This is a blog by Katie. She's currently a Pediactric Nurse. She gives a lot of information in her about me section. One important piece of information in her about me section is where she says that she went from 0 experience to being an RN in 12 months with a bachelors degree. In her blog, she gives some good advice to current nursing students. A few bits of her advice are to be prepared to work hard and to ask a lot of questions. This seems like a very credible and resourceful blog to get information from about this profession. She provides a lot of useful information to others.

Career Cruising. “Registered Nurse Job Description.”Careercruising.com (2010). Web. 7 Apr 2010.
--This is a website I found on Career Cruising. It tells exactly what an RN is and what the job description is. It also tells about earnings, education, and working conditions of the job. It's a credible source because it's coming from the yavapai college website and it has a lot of credible, resourceful information. This website also contains personal interviews with current RN's and they answer some very helpful questions about the likes/dislikes of the job.

"Nursing World." American Nurses Association. The American Nurses Association Inc., 2010. Web. 7 Apr 2010.
-- This is a website called the American Nurses Assocation. This website is the largest nursing organization in the United States. I think this is a credible source because it has a lot of resourceful information on the careers and credentials of nursing, the nursing practice itself, ethics, health care policies, government affairs, and the environment. There is a section of facts, questions, and answers. There is a section just for its viewers on nursing and why it should be considered. This is a helpful webpage because it includes just about everything A-Z about the nursing practice.

"Registered Nurse." Web Site for Registered Nurses. Wikipedia, 4 Apr 2010. Web. 7 Apr 2010.
--This is a website which tells about RN's and what their job expectations are to be. I have considered becoming an RN and I think this website will be helpful in providing me some resourceful information on it. This website gives information on other types of nursing positions such as a second level or a specialist nurse. It gives information on education and training and the types of degrees which are available. It also includes the controversy going on with the nursing shortages.

Interview... Coming soon :]
