The career I am thinking about pursuing is nursing. As of right now, I do not know the specific type of nursing I am thinking about going into. I do have a few ideas in mind though. I’m looking into maybe becoming an RN or an OBGYN. From when I first started high school, I’ve always wanted to be a nurse. I’m a very caring person and I love helping people. It’s a good feeling when you know you helped someone. With how the economy is right now it’s so hard to find a job anywhere, but when you’re a nurse you’re almost always guaranteed a job somewhere. It’s a field that pays well, offers all different kinds of jobs, and even traveling. Most nurses will work twelve hour shifts a few days out of the week. It takes a certain person to be a nurse. You have to have a lot of compassion and care for people and you have to be extremely dedicated to the job. This is a career that requires dedication, compassion, and a whole lot of caring. It’s not a career for everyone, but anyone is capable of acquiring the skills needed to become a nurse.
